Nina used some lovely 1950s swimming costume patterns for the authentic itchy woollen feel. We’re so lucky to be born in the era of swimming costumes that don’t go baggy when you get them wet! My kids loved playing around in them for a couple of hours but commented that they were pretty uncomfortable!
